Casey Stoner won the opening Moto GP of 2011 on his Repsol Honda at last weekends race at Quatar.
World champion Jorge Lorenzo finished second and Danni Pedrosa third.
Stephen Pino continues to lead our BikeWise league in MCN’s Fantasy Road Racing competition and is joint top in the country (with the other 140 !! ). Jonathan Knowles is running Stephen a close second.
This weekend see the World Superbikes return to our own Donington Park for the second round of the championship and with the forecast looking good we should see a big crowd and some close racing.
James Toseland has injured his hand in a crash and is out of action for a few weeks, so let’s hope one of the other British riders can bring home a couple of wins on home ‘soil’.
It’s still OK to enter the league as the season has a long way to go.
