2011 Ducati Roadshow at BikeWise 2011

logo-Ducati The demonstrator fleet showcases the 2011 range including the new and much heralded Diavel. Aswell as the Diavel, the Multistrada 1200 will undoubtedly be a popular choice to test ride as this ‘four-bikes-in-one’ has wowed many with its performance, versatility and technological advancement.

13986Although the Multistrada will be the beacon of attention for many, it will not be overshadowed by a test fleet that includes the iconic Monsters, including the new 1100 Evo, the Hypermotard 796 and 1100 Evo, the muscular Streetfighter and the fleet  would not be complete without its majestic Superbikes including the stunning 1198 range and the cornering gem that is the 848 Evo.

To take a test ride at any of these events, riders must have a valid motorcycle licence (both parts required) and appropriate clothing and safety gear. Local dealership staff will be on hand to give expert technical and service advice and trained riders will be there to guide all test rides.

Donington Park World Superbikes
Sunday 27th March 2011 – Donington Park
British race fans will get two chances to see their WSB heroes in 2011 following the announcement that Donington Park will host the second round of the World Superbike Championship on March 25th to 27th.
Donington Park last hosted a round of the championship in 2009 where American Ben Spies won both races on his way to claiming the title. With at least five British riders confirmed to race in WSB next season securing another round in the UK is a necessary and logical step.
Kevin Wheatcroft, chairman of the re-instated Donington Park Racing Limited, is delighted to re-establish Donington Park as a world motorcycle venue. “It was always my father’s dream and since his death at the end of last year, I always wanted to provide a world class event in his memory.”
Paolo Flammini, CEO of Infront Motor Sports, official promoter of the FIM Superbike World Championship, commented: “We are extremely pleased to bring SBK back to Donington Park for the European Round of the Championship.
"The Leicestershire circuit is where the Championship began its history 23 years ago and has hosted many successful rounds of our series over the years. Thanks to the presence of many competitive British riders both in the Superbike and Supersport classes, we are sure that the 2011 event will attract many fans and will be a huge success”.

The game starts at 04:00 GMT on Saturday 26th February and the top prize, courtesy of MCE Insurance, is Yamaha's special edition YZF - R125 (worth £5,800) - celebrating 50 years of racing in  World GPs.

There are also seven 'Game Round' prizes to play for during the year, too.

All entrants with the two highest scoring MCE BSB riders for each Game Round will be entered into a prize draw, and of these, one entrant will be drawn out at random to win a pair of tickets to a future MCE BSB round.

So select your riders today! (the season starts in a few days time)

Once you’ve registered then join the BikeWise League – so that we can all share in the fun.

The PIN number you need to enter the league is :463

Last year, 38yr old Tony Stevens from Hartlepool, who after a ‘gruelling’ season, managing a multi million pound budget and some of the world’s best motorcycle racers Tony not only topped our own BikeWise league – he topped the national league and ‘walked’ away with a brand new Yamaha R6. So let’s hope that we can have a repeat of last season’s success and bring that Yamaha home to the North (again)

If you want to look at your racer’s in action then check out our Moto GP and WSB photo galleries on the new BikeWise website at www.bikewise.org.uk/galleries/  (photo’s will be added as the season progresses)

So – register your team and enter our league – it’s all FREE and you could have a lot of fun and win a bike or tickets to a BSB round
